MyMarketing.ca is a Canadian digital marketing and business consulting service for people who run a trades or home-service business on their own. We write plain-language marketing plans, set up the few tools a solo owner really needs, and help owners keep it all going in a couple of hours a week.
Why this brand exists
Most marketing for small businesses is sold as a scaled-down version of what big companies do. For a one-person business, that rarely fits.
A solo painter or plumber can't spend Monday mornings in strategy meetings. They need a short, clear answer to three questions: what should I do, how long will it take, and how will I know if it worked? MyMarketing.ca was set up to answer those questions in plain words, with the arithmetic shown, so owners can make their own decisions. If the answer is "do it yourself for now", we say so, and the guides on this site are written to make that possible.
There is a second reason. Owners on their own rarely have anyone to check their thinking with. A crew business has a foreman, an office manager, a partner. A solo owner has a phone and a long drive between jobs. Part of what we offer is simply a knowledgeable person on the other end of a text, who will tell you whether an idea is worth the money before you spend it.
Who we are
We belong to the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies. It is a Canadian group run from a head office in Vancouver, British Columbia, and it takes on clients from coast to coast to coast.
- Sedighi.ca is Ali Sedighi's own consultancy, where growth, marketing and technology meet. HVAC.Agency, HVAC.Digital, Trades.Agency, BusinessConsulting.ca and Conv.ca are among the brands under it.
- SAZ.ca, whose name stands for Strategy & Acceleration Zone, gives Canadian businesses advice on strategy, AI and how to speed up revenue. Ali Sedighi started it and is its Founder & Managing Partner.
MyMarketing.ca sits within the trades side of the group, next to Trades.Agency, which offers the same plans to larger trades companies.
Ali Sedighi, MBA
Ali Sedighi leads MyMarketing.ca. His degree is an MBA in Technology Management. His digital marketing career began in 2007, more than 17 years ago, when he set up ONE.ir, a full-service digital marketing agency.
Later ventures include Conv.ca, which specialises in conversion-rate optimisation, and MyAutomation.ca; at SAZ.ca he is Founder & Managing Partner. His clients have been in Canada, the USA and Dubai.
