You can reach MyMarketing.ca in the same three ways your customers reach you: a call, a text or an email. There is no form to fill in and no calendar to book through. Send a message when it suits you, between jobs or at the end of the day, and a senior strategist will get back to you.
What happens next
Send a short note
Your business name, city and what you need.
Get a reply
Ali or a senior strategist answers, usually the next business day.
Plan the next step
If it fits, you get a clear proposal. If not, honest advice.
How to reach us
Use whichever method is easiest for you. They all reach the same person.
- Call: (604) 632-4959
- Text: (604) 632-4959
- Email: Ali@Sedighi.ca
Our hours are Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. We usually reply within one business day. If you are in Atlantic Canada or Newfoundland, remember that Pacific time is four to four and a half hours behind you, so a late-afternoon message from you may be answered the next morning.
What to put in your first message
A few facts let us give you a useful answer on the first reply instead of a string of questions. You don't need exact figures; rough ones are fine.
- Your trade and where you work. For example, "house painting, [City] and nearby towns".
- Your typical job value. A rough average or range.
- How busy you are. Fully booked, some empty days, or quiet.
- Where work comes from now. Word of mouth, Google, a directory, repeat customers.
- What you want to change. More work, better work, fewer wasted quotes, a quieter phone.
Here is a template you can copy and fill in:
"Hi, I'm [Your name]. I run a one-person [trade] business in [City]. A typical job is around $[amount]. Right now I'm [fully booked / have a few empty days a week / quiet]. Most of my work comes from [source]. I'd like to [goal]. Can we talk?"
If you'd rather just call and talk it through, that works too.
What happens after you get in touch
The process is short and you stay in control at every step.
- We reply by your chosen method, usually within one business day, and suggest a time to talk if it would help.
- The free consultation. If your trades business qualifies, the first 30-minute conversation is free. We ask about your numbers, look at your Google profile and website, and tell you what we see.
- A straight answer. If a paid plan makes sense, we explain which one and why, with the break-even sum. If it doesn't, we say so and point you to the free guides.
- A written proposal if you want to go ahead, setting out the work, the cost and the terms, including ownership of your accounts.
Nothing starts until you have read and agreed to the proposal.
Before you contact us
If you want to prepare, three pages will help you get more out of the conversation.
- Pricing shows the plans and the break-even sum.
- Services explains the four pieces of work and which to start with.
- The one-page plan guide lets you draft your own plan first, which makes the first call even more useful.
When to get in touch, and when to wait
Contact us when you are about to spend money on marketing, when enquiries have dropped and you can't see why, or when you want to change the kind of work you do. Those are the moments when a short conversation saves the most.
If you are fully booked for months and happy with your prices, you probably don't need us yet. Keep asking for reviews, keep your Google profile current, and save this page for later.
Who you are contacting
MyMarketing.ca is part of the Sedighi.ca and SAZ.ca group of companies, a Canadian group with its head office in Vancouver, British Columbia. Ali Sedighi, MBA, leads the business. We provide marketing and business consulting to trades and home-service owners; we are not a contractor and don't do trade work of any kind.
We only email or text people who contacted us first, and we will stop whenever you ask. Read more about us or see results from our HVAC work.
Frequently asked questions
What are your hours?
Mon–Fri 9–6 Pacific. Messages sent outside those hours are answered on the next business day.
How quickly will you reply?
We usually reply within one business day.
Can I text instead of calling?
Yes. Many solo owners prefer it, because they can send a message between jobs. Text (604) 632-4959; a short text is enough. We will reply the same way unless you ask us to call.
Is the first conversation free?
Yes, for eligible trades businesses. The first 30 minutes cost nothing, and you are under no pressure to sign up afterwards.
Will you meet me in person?
Yes, or by video call if that suits you better, and we're on phone, text and email too, which keeps things quick and fits around your jobs.
